International Space Apps Challenge at FIU April 21-22

Graduate students David Lagomasino and Stephanie Long, NASA student ambassadors for STEM workforce development, have fostered FIU's participation in the International Space Apps Challenge, a 2 day technology development 'codeathon' during which citizens from around the world will work together to solve current challenges relevant to both space exploration and social need. The International Space Apps Challenge will take place on all seven continents – and in space - on 21-22 April 2012.

Dozens of locations around the world will participate, including the International Space Station and McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
