Professor David Barton Bray is an invited speaker at the 5th Annual Aspen Environmental Forum

Professor David Barton Bray of the Department of Earth & Environment is an invited speaker at the prestigious 5th Annual Aspen Environmental Forum in Aspen, Colorado June 22-25, 2012. For the last four years, the Aspen Institute and National Geographic have joined forces on the Aspen Environment to gather a broad spectrum of key thought leaders for rich and engaging dialogue on the challenges of reconciling Earth's finite resources with its ability to sustain our expanding human needs. The 2012 Forum will be one of the first public forums that specifically addresses the topic of Adaptation, and will be solutions-oriented with a new diversity of presentation and interaction with tutorials, multimedia presentations and world renown photographers from National Geographic. Dr. Bray will be speaking on his resarch area of Mexican forest communities as model for adaptation to climate change, and will be appearing with figures such as Environmental Defense Fund President Fred Krupp, the biologist E.O. Wilson, and environmentalist Steward Brand.
