E & E graduate student wins award at the Eighth Symposium on Policy and Socio-economic Research

Earth & Environment Graduate Student Sandra Maina (MS in Environmental Studies) won an award at the Eighth Symposium on Policy and Socio-economic Research Student Competition which took place during the American Meteorological Society's 93rd Annual Meeting in Austin, TX. Her abstract “Protecting South Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana through the development of Vanishing Points: an iPhone application motivating community and national involvement in coastal restoration efforts” won a Best Presentation Award.
