As part of the School of Environment, Arts and Society in the College of Arts, Sciences & Education, the Department of Earth and Environment is focused on understanding the natural world and its interactions with human systems to build the skills and understanding needed for sustainable societies. The department offers a broad range of classroom, field and laboratory experiences in atmospheric, aquatic, earth and agricultural sciences as well as environmental management and policy.

    Students assigned an Earth and Environment advisor should make advising appointments using the "Appointment Request" tab within their e-advisor dashboard. Non-Earth and Environment majors wishing to seek advisement should contact Dean Whitman to schedule an appointment.
